Rockaway Ranch
Welcome to our ranch which we share with our Dove Creek Llamas,
two retired Boer Goats, a few head of cattle, and our horse, Rocky.

Thought for the day --

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away
.

We are Jerry, Margaret and Kristina Schulze

We began our "love affair" with llamas in 1994 while living on a small acreage farm near San Angelo, TX.
Shortly after purchasing our first two llamas, we added one Boer goat doe.   From this small beginning, we
grew to approximately 30 llamas and 60 + goats.  (Note:  In December 2009 we made a decision to retire from the Boer goat business, but we have kept two old does and still have three boys who will need to find new homes.) In August 2005 we moved about 80 miles east to Coleman County where we found our "ideal home for grandparents" on  250 acres with an original family home built in the very early 1900's.   We are located a short drive to the original beginnings of the Schulze family in Brown County.  We welcome you to visit us here in west central Texas just north of Brady, the "heart of Texas" and south of Coleman, the hunting capitol of Texas.

We are right on US Highway 283 ..... easy to access and centrally located in Texas.
